Kids volunteer at Hobbs farm in Centereach to help cultivate goods to give to families in need.
The young volunteers plant, harvest and weed crops.
Hobbs Farm was purchased around 1906 by Albert Hobbs, and is today managed by Bethel-Setauket AME Church.
Hobbs Farms' focus is to be aware of the farm and care for the needy. The food harvested from the 11 acres goes to people who don't have dinner on their plates.
Volunteers are always welcomed at the farm.
