A Wyandanch woman is in jail, charged Sunday with killing a tenant who rented a room in her home. Neighbors say the tenant seemed nice and they are shocked by the news. Police say they arrived at the home on East Booker Avenue and found 46-year-old Bennie Lenord stabbed to death. They charged 29-year-old Micki Pryor with the murder. Police say Pryor went out drinking, and that she was known to leave her key with the victim so she wouldn?t lose it. Pryor thought the victim had her key, he said he didn?t and a verbal argument ensued. That?s when cops say she picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed Lenord once in the chest, killing him.
