Wyandanch woman dies after car strikes tree in Oakdale
Suffolk County police says the woman was driving a 2016 Honda Civic eastbound on Montauk Highway when she lost control of the vehicle and then struck a tree near Lincoln Drive at 12:35 p.m.

A Wyandanch woman was killed when her car struck a tree early Saturday afternoon in Oakdale.
Suffolk County police says the woman was driving a 2016 Honda Civic eastbound on Montauk Highway when she lost control of the vehicle and then struck a tree near Lincoln Drive at 12:35 p.m.
The woman identified as 28-year-old Nyree Walker was pronounced dead at the scene.
