Six people were forced from their Woodmere home after a fire broke out.

The Nassau Fire Marshal's office says the fire started just before 11:30 a.m. on Midway.

Around 75 firefighters needed 30 minutes to get the flames under control.

Officials say no one was hurt, but that the home is currently uninhabitable.
