Woman in critical condition after Humvee careens into crowd at festival

Several people were injured Saturday when an unoccupied military Humvee on display at a Farmingville festival came loose and careened into a crowd of people, according to police. 
The incident took place during the Long Island Bacon Bash at the Pennysaver Amphitheater around 6 p.m.
Police say the U.S. Army Reserve Humvee was parked on an incline when it came out of gear and rolled approximately 30 feet. Police say it struck Suzette Lamonica, 46, pinning her between the vehicle and a food trailer. She is in critical condition, officials at Stony Brook University Hospital.
An East Hampton man who was inside the trailer when it was struck was burned by cooking oil and hospitalized for treatment.
Police say two other women suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene. 
The Humvee was impounded for a safety check. An investigation into the incident in ongoing.
