A woman was struck and killed by a car as she crossed Sunrise Highway in Bellmore early Sunday morning.
Police say it happened around 1 a.m. near a Valero gas station.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
Authorities say the driver stayed at the scene and no charges have been filed at this time.
