Police say a woman drowned in her backyard pool in Miller Place.
According to police, Erin Attard, 54, was found by a family member around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Attard was unresponsive and was rushed to the hospital by the Rocky Point Fire Department.
Police say efforts to revive her were unsuccessful.
