A woman was arrested for stabbing another woman early Wednesday morning in North Amityville, according to police.
Investigators say the 49-year-old suspect stabbed the 23-year-old victim around 1:55 a.m. at a Harrison Avenue residence.
The victim was hospitalized with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot but was located a short time after and charged with assault.
