Woman accused of hitting pedestrian while on drugs in Bridgehampton

Police say during their investigation, they determined that Noelle Haas, of East Hampton, was driving under the influence of drugs.

An East Hampton woman was arrested Monday after the Southampton Town Police Department got a call about a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian struck.

The incident happened around 10 a.m. on Haynes Path in Bridgehampton.

Police say during their investigation, they determined that Noelle Haas, of East Hampton, was driving under the influence of drugs.

The 57-year-old and the pedestrian had injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Haas is charged with driving while impaired by drugs and possession of a controlled substance in non-original container.
