Flurries briefly fell across Long Island Wednesday before a cold and cloudy evening.
Temperatures are expected to dip as low as 34 degrees tonight.
Thursday looks mostly sunny with high temperatures nearing 47 degrees.
Some wet weather is on the horizon, however. Forecasters say to expect rain showers on Saturday and scattered showers on Sunday.
