Possible early snow for Wednesday, bitter blast comes in for the weekend

WHAT'S NEW: A system passes us by, giving the island a few hours of snow shower activity, where it will wrap up during the early portion of the Wednesday a.m. commute.
WHAT'S NEXT: An arctic cold front dives down Friday and leaves the area feeling very cold wind chills into Saturday afternoon. This arctic surge will move away by Sunday, thankfully.

OVERNIGHT: Cloudy skies with snow showers between 3 or 4 am through 6 to 7 am. A few remote areas may see a dusting of snow. Roads are expected to be wet and a little slick. Feels: Upper 10s. Lows: low to mid 20s.
WEDNESDAY: Snow showers wrap up in the morning hours with partly cloudy skies for the afternoon. Highs: mid to upper 30s. Lows: mid 20s.
THURSDAY: Groundhog Day – Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs: upper 30s to low 40s. Lows: mid to upper 20s.
FRIDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH (FOR BITTER BLAST) – Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies with an arctic front moving through in the morning hours. Temps will drop through the rest of the day with winds picking up.
Feels Like Temps will go from 10 at noon to -5 at 8 PM.
Feels Like Temps will dip more overnight & will trend around -16 until 8 AM Saturday.
Highs: low to mid 30s. (this will occur early FRI morning). Lows: low 0s. (this will occur late FRI night)
SATURDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH (FOR BITTER BLAST) – Mainly sunny and COLD! Expect breezy winds through much of the day with temps slowly trying to warm up.
Feels Like Temps will go from -15 at 8 AM to 0 at Noon and then slowly rise through the rest of the day and into the overnight hours into Sunday.
Highs: low to mid 20s. Low: mid to upper 10s.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy to overcast skies with a chance for rain by the afternoon and into the evening hours. Highs: mid 40s. Lows: mid 30s.
