Wife and grandson of gospel singer Rev. Wright buried

Mourners and supporters said a final goodbye to the wife and grandson of gospel singer Rev. Timothy Wright, who died weeks ago in a wrong-way crash in Pennsylvania.
Betty Wright, 14-year-old DJ Wright and the reverend were headed to a religious convention in Pennsylvania when their car was struck by an alleged drunken driver. Rev. Wright survived, but his injuries prevented him from attending the funerals.
Horse-drawn carriages carried the caskets to the Washington Temple Church of Christ in Brooklyn. Thousands turned out to grieve and show their support.
Rev. Wright only learned of his wife and grandson?s deaths Tuesday, when doctors believed he was strong enough to hear the news.
Betty and DJ Wright were buried in Uniondale.
