A Westbury woman is being held without bail, facing attempted murder charges stemming from a stabbing.
Police say Tyana Cooper Waite threw a knife at a 30-year-old man - and it stuck in his upper torso -- on Oswalt Place in Roosevelt Sunday.
Police say the unidentified man, who survived the attack, knew Waite.
Authorities say Waite's 3-year-old daughter was in a bedroom sleeping at the time.
