Students from Westbury School District went on a shopping spree for holiday gifts thanks to the Heroes and Helpers partnership between the Nassau Police Department and Target stores.
Each student was given a gift card and paired with a Nassau police officer while making their purchases.
The goal of the program is to foster a good relationship between the young people and local law enforcement.
