West Islip floodwaters have receded Tuesday night after some worries from residents.
On Monday night, residents say water was all the way up to some homes during the nor'easter.
"This is normal here whenever we get a nor'easter. Just this time we had ice flows," says William Jacobs. "And that video it shows where the ice was flowing out,and it was really cool."
Nearby Lindenhurst wasn't as lucky, as residents told News 12 of the issues they've had with snow, ice and saltwater causing continuous issues in the area.
