A West Babylon man will spend the next 20 years to life in prison for murdering his estranged wife.

Wesley Paul was sentenced Monday for stabbing his wife to death in the shower after arguing over custody of their son back in 2010.

Paul's lawyer was pushing for him to be charged with manslaughter.

He said he shouldn't have been charged with murder because of "extreme emotional disturbance."
