WHAT'S NEW: Tracking scattered showers and storms west of Long Island. A
storm or two could reach us this evening before any wet weather quickly ends
early tonight. Most of the action stays to our north. There's a better chance
for some wet weather Friday evening into Friday night.
WHAT'S NEXT: Clearing and less humid for the weekend, it's going to be a
beauty! As for next week, most of it looks dry again with temperatures heating
up into the 90's by Thursday. We could be talking about our second heat wave of
the season.

humid with pop-up storms to close out the week.
