Cold weather is in store for Long Island this week.
Forecasters say overnight temperatures will be near 18 degrees. With wind chills, it will feel more like 8-15 degrees.
Light snow and flurries are expected to develop Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures will be near 26 degrees.
Snow accumulation is expected to be a coating to 1 inch by 8 p.m.
Forecasters say freezing temperatures will remain for the rest of the week.
