We're looking much nicer around the island for today. We're getting back to average and actually a little bit above average towards the weekend, but we do have some changes coming our way. Some clouds, some wet weather will be on the horizon today, temperatures are in the mid and upper forties. You can see through Brentwood this afternoon. There's your sunshine, mostly sunny skies. A few clouds coming in towards this evening and for the evening rush hour dry weather conditions with temperatures in the mid forties, wind chills this morning have been in the twenties and thirties. Yes, it has been cold this morning. We're improving our weather during our afternoon hours. Take a look around the tri state region. Sunshine from the east end to the west end, Nassau County, seven County heading into the five boroughs of Queens down along the Jersey shoreline heading north today mostly sunny skies. Take a look at our temperatures here for today. 48 degrees, mostly sunny tonight. Partly cloudy skies. A little chilly to cold at 38 but not as cold. The last couple of morning we've had temperatures in the twenties with wind chills in the teens and twenties. The cold weather is with us. Now, going through the afternoon hours, temperatures, mid and upper forties, you can see here at around 330 going towards tonight. A few passing clouds, your evening rush hour will be dry with temperatures in the lower forties. For your Friday morning temperatures around 35 to 40 before eight o'clock. We're right around 930. Now, mid forties, even some fifties popping up more sunshine on Friday and then towards Friday evening, a few spotty showers start to develop some nuisance showers coming our way and an overnight Friday just kind of cloudy skies. But drier weather conditions into Saturday and a few more raindrops coming in Saturday night into your Sunday. So recapping your Thursday forecast today, forties to around 50 degrees, mostly sunny and nice afternoon. Then for tonight, lows are in the thirties, partly cloudy skies and then going into tomorrow, we can see here fifties after morning sunshine showers Friday evening, mostly cloudy Saturday showers coming in Sunday, Monday, but temperatures in the fifties
