Get ready for another warm day on Long Island with high temperatures in the 70s on Thursday. A front will pass by through the day with a breeze out of the northwest followed by cooler weather into the weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will feel much more fall-like with highs near 60 degrees. Our weather will be nice and dry with lots of sunshine until the chance for rain arrives late Sunday.
We could see some light showers Sunday night into Monday with rainfall totals under a quarter of an inch. Once the rain passes by, temperatures will be much more typical for this time of the year next week.
