News 12 Storm Watch Meteorologist Sam Augeri says Long Island will close out the workweek with cooler weather followed by a wet finish to the weekend.
HEADLINES:
  • Cooler but dry weather to close out the week. Expect a dry start to the weekend with a wet finish.
  • Long Island Marathon is Sunday and the weather looks good for runners with cooler temperatures and the chance for only a few light showers in the morning. Shower chances increase after lunch time with showers lasting into Sunday night. Spectators will have to dodge some wet weather, especially towards the end of the race.
  • Warmer weather returns next week
