WHAT'S NEW: Tracking showers and the chance of a few storms overnight. Nassau County could see a shower between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. but most of the rain arrives after 11 p.m., clearing by daybreak.
WHAT'S NEXT: Drought conditions with above normal temperatures continue. This will be the warmest August on record at Islip Airport. Our weather looks good through much of the holiday weekend. There could be some showers around by Monday.
