A social studies teacher at Walt Whitman High School is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
Brian Dreher, of Huntington Station, was arrested Thursday morning.
Detectives say the 41-year-old had a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.
Dreher will be arraigned Friday on charges including rape and endangering the welfare of a child.
