An overflowing crowd of mourners packed wake services Monday for an NYPD officer killed in a shooting in the Bronx last week.
Family, friends and fellow officers from around the country visited World Changers Church in the Bronx and paid their respects to NYPD Officer Miosotis Familia, who was killed in an ambush shooting.
Officer Familia's funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the same church.
As many as 25,000 people were expected to attend, including police officers from Long Island communities. Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the NYPD's current and previous police commissioner were also in attendance.
