The voters throughout the night at the oy diner. But now he's not just with voters, he's actually met some poll workers who had a very long day. They went to the right place. Kevin. Absolutely rich. Yeah, they came here for a nice meal after they finished a long day. Uh, working at the polls, volunteering at the polls. We're gonna get to them in just a second. You know, a lot of attention is being paid here at this diner to the Suffolk County Executive race in the Islip Town supervisor race since we're here in Islip. So, moments ago when those results started coming in, uh, from Suffolk County, a lot of eyes were on the TV. S right here playing news. 12 people watching, uh, you and Rachel will bring us those results live. So people here certainly appreciate that. Uh, so this is Ken and Rose. They're here having dinner right now. After a long day at the polls, you guys started early in the morning and you finished at 10 o'clock at night. Uh, first, just tell me, what did you see in terms of turnout when you were over at the, it was a good turnout. The crowd from what I gather was better than average, but the weather was fabulous. So, uh, the weather really helped and people seem very interested in voting this year. You know, with everything going on with politics and all that, in the economy that people seem more interested this time to really go out and, you know, vote for their party and, and, and you're not just poll volunteers, but voters too. You said you voted early. Um, so what, what issues are important to you, uh, this time around all has to do with the economy. And, you know, the taxes are always a big thing. Our taxes are always going up and, you know, it's all about taking care of the people that take care of you. You know, and, you know, we're all, everybody works hard for their money and we hate to get taxed even more and more and we just want everything to be stabilized, you know, get the economy going again. So we're hoping, you know, my, my wife and I decided to just go out there and see what we can do, see what's going on. And it was, it was a nice experience. So well, thank you so much for doing that for volunteering today and enjoy those meals. You certainly earned them. Thank you. Absolutely. Thank you. And, you know, he's talking about the economy and that's something that we're hearing from a lot of people in fact earlier this evening, we heard from both a Republican and a Democrat. The one thing that they agreed on was the fact that they said that it's difficult to afford living here and they want to make it more affordable to live here. Rich. Very interesting stuff out here.
