Some Massapequa residents spent their first warm spring Sunday in a while taping up broken windows and glass from car vandalisms.

Cops say about 28 to 30 vehicles on five streets were vandalized overnight with BB guns. Neighbors say the incident is not the first, and they believe it won't be the last. They're just glad no one was injured. "Probably a lot of young kids ... It's usual hijinks for kids," said victim Steve Grimes.

Nassau police are investigating whether the Massapequa vandalisms are linked to reports in Levittown and the Carle Place/Westbury area.
