Nassau police say a Valley Stream man found a body in a dumpster while taking out his trash Thursday morning.
Police say they are now looking at a murder mystery, a development that has neighbors on edge. Det. Lt. Mike Fleming says the body has not been identified and a cause of death hasn?t been determined. However, he described the body as that of a small male.
Authorities removed the entire dumpster, with the body inside, to look for clues among the garbage.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crimestoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
