Following last week's opening of Yankee Stadium as a mega-vaccination site, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the Mets will be following close behind.
Citi Field will open as a vaccine site on Wednesday.
While Yankee Stadium is for Bronx residents only, the mayor said that only half the slots at Citi Filed will be for Queens residents, while the other half are for TLC drivers and food service workers.
The plan is for the stadium to be open 24 hours a day from Wednesday to Saturday.
Appointment slots are already available online.
