A USPS employee is facing multiple charges for stealing mail in Wantagh, according to police.

Authorities responded to the post office just before 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Office staff informed them that 40-year-old Daniel Schultz had mail that did not belong to him in the backseat of his car.

Officers also found a bag containing a white substance that appeared to be cocaine.

Schultz is set to appear in front of a judge on Saturday.
