Adelphi University offered a plethora of resources to Long Island's 125,000 veterans today.
The university hosted the 8th Annual Veterans Mental Health Conference, where local veterans are being offered housing, jobs and emotional support.
In addition to addressing mental health, the conference provides workshops and other resources about veterans' homes, assisted living and VA services.
