A Uniondale teen foiled the plan of intruders Tuesday by chasing down and tackling one of the three men who allegedly ransacked his home.
Police say the teen returned to his Chester Street house in the afternoon and found the three men. Two of the men are on the loose, police say, but the teen?s actions resulted in the apprehension of one of the individuals.
The evidence - a knife, laptop and cellular phone - lay strewn on the lawn as police began their investigation.
Neighbors are calling the alleged daylight burglary brazen.
