A U-Haul truck collided with a bridge on the Southern State Parkway on Sunday near Exit 18 – causing a traffic headache for commuters.
It happened around 11 a.m. and prompted an emergency response from the Lakeview Fire Department.
The crash caused minor injuries and led to closures of the right and center lanes.
According to officials, the truck, which was not permitted on the parkway, struck the low-clearance bridge.
