A pickup truck drove onto a boat at a marina in Suffolk County Tuesday evening.

Suffolk County Police Marine Bureau officers responded after the 67-year-old driver ended up on top of the vessel.

The incident happened around 7 p.m. at the Bay Shore Marina located at 122 Ocean Ave. in Bay Shore, police say.

The man was able to exit the 23-foot Monterey Bow Rider on his own.

The boat was not occupied at the time of the crash and the driver was not hurt, according to Suffolk police.
