The trial for the Holbrook man accused of drunk driving and killing a Suffolk Boy Scout has been delayed.
Thomas Murphy fired his lawyer in court Wednesday and replaced him with two other lawyers.
Jury selection was set to begin in two weeks. Murphy is charged with vehicular homicide and DWI in the death of 12-year-old Andrew McMorris in Manorville last year.
Murphy's new legal team wants the trial moved out of Suffolk County.
The lawyer also claims the Boy Scouts were walking along the road without proper supervision when the accident happened.
A pre-trial conference is now set for Sept. 24.
