The Lynbrook High School Symphony Orchestra is going electric with the co-founder of the world-renowned Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Mark Wood, who was born in Port Washington, is calling it his "Electrifying Your Strings" program. Students will perform in the school's first rock orchestra concert Saturday night at 7 p.m.
"I love empowering kids, and the community and the school, to the importance of music and arts education," says Wood.
