An outlet mall in Deer Park is drawing rave reviews from customers despite the bumper-to-bumper traffic they're encountering.
Drivers on Commack Road who were going to the Tanger Outlets at the Arches say the traffic has been unceasing since Thursday, when the mall officially opened.
Curt Fickesien, the mall's general manager, says the issue is being worked on. "We've been able to get very good assistance from the Suffolk County police," he says.
Overall, shoppers say visiting the mall is well worth the wait.
"The experience is really nice," says Bob Schaefer, of Deer Park. "I live here in Deer Park so this good for the community."
