A crash involving a tractor-trailer closed a section of the Long Island Expressway in Nassau County early Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 3 a.m. and shut down all eastbound lanes of the expressway near Exit 48 in Plainview.
Police say a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder was struck by another tractor-trailer, which then hit the center median.
Crews responded to a fuel spill from the crash.
No injuries were reported.
