Long Islanders spread holiday cheer in a very special way at Saturday's Toys for Tots drive in Massapequa.

They dropped off new and unwrapped toys at John Burns Park, bringing everything from firetrucks to bicycles -- all from the comfort of their cars, with the hope to make a child smile on Christmas morning.

Kids met Santa and Mrs. Claus, saw classic cars and drank hot cocoa with their families.

The Marine Corps and the Town of Oyster Bay also showed up to help kids get their letters out to Santa on time and drop off gifts for children.

"It's great to see everyone come out, it's great to see all the love and giving for the holiday season," said Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino.

For those interested in donating toys, below is a list of additional Toys for Tots drop off sites:

Town Hall North at 54 Audrey Ave. in Oyster Bay

Town Hall South at 977 Hicksville Rd. in Massapequa

Ice Skating Center at 1001 Stewart Ace. In Bethpage
