News 12 Long Island has learned a $380,000 grant
has been awarded to the Town of Brookhaven to help keep people safe out
on the roads.
The money is from the U.S. Transportation Department's
Safe Streets and Roads for All grant program.
The money will be used to develop a safety plan to reduce the number of
deaths on the roads.
