Long Island kids are gearing up for "Thanksgivukkah."

Hanukkah begins on Thanksgiving this year for the first time in nearly 100 years.

Children at Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center's "Family Fun Day" made potato pancakes and candles for menorahs. Down the street at Congregation Beth David in Commack, kids decorated menorahs and learned about the holiday with a special skit.

Hanukkah and Thanksgiving will fall on the same day again in 2070.
