Whipping winds and stormy weather overnight left some Long Islanders cleaning up Wednesday morning.
According to PSEG Long Island’s website, there were about 1,600 lingering outages around 2 p.m. after trees fell in some communities.
At one point, the outages reached nearly 5,000.
