It's a wet day on the roads for drivers around the Hudson Valley.
The biggest concern has been around the flood-prone spots along the parkways and interstates.
"A couple potholes startled me, a couple potholes and puddles," says Dren Kolshi who traveled to the Hudson Valley from Brooklyn.
Drivers say the conditions so far have been okay. Fortunately, traffic hasn't been too heavy.
"It's actually a better day of driving. Not a lot of traffic, few cars out there," says New Rochelle resident Randy Cannon.
Emergency crews urge drivers to use caution throughout the day, if conditions get difficult.
Thanksgiving day itself is the best time to travel by car for the holiday weekend, according to AAA.
