Hope Springs Eternal boutique in Port Jefferson Station has been helping those in the community since opening its doors in 2019.

All of its profits go to Hope House Ministries, which helps Long Islanders deal with issues like poverty, addiction and homelessness.

Despite a wide variety of items, and plenty of donations, shop owners tell News 12 they need more volunteers to help sort through it all.

They also say inflation has made it more expensive just to run the store, which they fear will keep them from hitting their monthly donation target.
