Officials say a threat against Lindenhurst Middle School is prompting extra security.
Officials won't say what the threat was, but they say it referenced Oct. 20.
As a precaution, students will have to clear out their lockers when class is over tomorrow and take everything home.
The building will be locked down for the weekend. Officials say this also means weekend school events are canceled.
Police will be there when the school reopens Monday.
