Since their founding in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA has played an influential role in the upbringing of millions of young women. As times change, though, so do the Girl Scouts. Out go the mandatory uniforms and in come Tae Kwon Do lessons. But, as Long Island's finest young women show, the new Girl Scouts are staying true to their core mission.
