There are dozens of wineries on the East End, all serving a wide variety of wines.

News 12's Doug Geed found one that has a loyal following for its atmosphere as well as its wine. Besides the setting, a unique thing about Croteaux is that they produce only rosé wines.

“We have six different still rosés that we produce every year and three sparkling rosés. There's a couple of sparkling’s that really stand out and those every year will sell out very quickly,” says Randy Frankel, of Croteaux Vineyards.

However, just as much as the wine, it's the surroundings that guests talk about.

“Everybody's got their favorite spot to sit at. Some want the experience of just facing the vines and sitting out there and getting some sun. Some just want to sit in here and tuck away. Some just want to find a little spot, a little nook in the barn,” says Frankel.

Near the vines is a place where quite a few couples have gotten engaged.

“This is truly a place where people truly fall in love, fall back in love. If I could say just one word about this place it's pure magic,” says tasting room manager Nora Mack.
