Bronx Zoo director Jim Breheny chatted with News 12 to share what makes the Bronx Zoo a must-visit spot in the borough.
What's considered Breheny's everyday office is an escape for people all around the world.
"The Bronx Zoo is an oasis. It's a soft, green oasis where people can come and just take a break," says Breheny.
So whether it's exhibits like Tiger Mountain or immersive tropical mazes like Jungle World, visitors are bound to be captured by the beautiful and educational experience.
"When we get people here, we can show them a tiger. When they fall in love with tigers and they have that emotional connection, hopefully they can join with us to preserve species in the wild," adds Breheny.
