yesterdayA 16-year-old has pleaded guilty to raping a Mastic Beach mother in front of her 4-year-old daughter.
Prosecutors say the attacker was just 14 when it happened in April 2022.
They say the teenager and an accomplice were seen on surveillance video near the home just hours before the attack.
The Suffolk County district attorney says that other suspects stole items as the 23-year-old woman was attacked and stabbed.
The teen faces up to nine years in prison when he is sentenced.
