Police are searching for the shooter who killed a 19-year-old in Uniondale Tuesday night.

Officials say Kareem Sapp was fatally shot on Northgate Drive. According to police, Sapp was putting clothes into his vehicle's trunk when he was shot.Police say Sapp was just blocks away from his home at the time of the shooting. They say the shooter was right next to the car when he or she fired. Police found six casings from a semiautomatic weapon.

Det. Sgt. Dennis Barry of the Nassau County Police Department says the incident appears to be personal, not a random act of violence.

Police are looking into motives but don?t believe robbery was one of them. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
