A teacher from Bay Shore won't serve any jail time under a deal she took to plead guilty to having sex with her 16-year-old student. Tara Driscoll, 34, of Bay Shore, pleaded guilty to a sexual misconduct charge today and will be sentenced to probation. Prosecutors say she took an underage male student from the Queens high school where she taught to a motel in Lynbrook for sex last March.Driscoll was originally charged with rape and faced up to four years behind bars, but the victim's family agreed to the terms of the plea deal. As part of that deal, Driscoll won't be able to teach any longer. She has been ordered to surrender her state teaching license.Driscoll will be sentenced on May 22 and will also be placed on the sex offender registry.
